Celebrate the Film4 Summer Screen season and learn how to tell exciting stories through a series of drop-in animation workshops. Under 5s can join in the fun with our Mini Make Believe sessions.
Fountains
10.00- 15.00 (weather dependent)
Don't forget to bring a swimming costume and a towel! Please note fountains are turned off this weekend at 15.00 to allow the courtyard to dry for the Film4 Summer Screen.
Drop-in Workshops
11.00-16.00
Become junior animators and discover how to make your own moving pictures in Get Animated!
with flickbooks, cartoon strips and zoetropes. For the more ambitious, bring your camera or camera phone and discover how to make mini-movies in the Animation Station.
Drop-ins run from 11.00-16.00 in the Learning Centre, the activity lasts about half an hour. Recommended for families with children age 5+, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Limited Spaces. If the workshop is full, families are welcome to wait until spaces become available.
Mini Make Believe
11.30, 13.00 & 15.00
Children aged 5 and under and their families are warmly welcomed at our Mini Make Believe workshops. Come on an exciting adventure with drama games, craft activities and storytelling that will take you from the deepest oceans to the furthest reaches of space. It takes an hour to complete the activity
